Aircom releases I-VIEW Dimension 2.1 for visualisation and capacity planning of mobile RAN, back-haul, and transport networks.
The announcement about I-View Dimension 2.1, the first version being launched June 2011, gives little away about what’s new. The brief overview of the product positions it as “allowing network planners to design a more efficient infrastructure by identifying capacity bottlenecks, and test scenarios to determine how the network will cope.”
Calum Byers, COO at Aircom adds, “It provides a complete overview of their entire network, enabling operators to make better network investment decisions and reduce churn.”
I have an overview of what planning and capacity management is all about, here.
