A major new section for OSS Line and a call for your expert opinions. Last quarter, over 10,000 unique visitors read the ‘Definition of OSS and BSS’ and a huge amount of our audience are reading the ‘what is’ and ‘how to’ style content more than any other…
That’s why I’m investing my time in the New Year adding a major section to the site introducing OSS and modern OSS solutions. It’s designed to start with a beginners guide and go through to the point that someone would be happy to, say, start an RFI process, go for a job interview, or talk knowledgeably at a trade show.
If you would like to be the first to receive a copies of the next chapters, in PDF form, sign-up here.
This will be a four-part series that has its own section on OSS Line. It will take the best part of January through March for me to produce it (yes, I have started already).
Because I need to feed my family at the same time as writing this guide, I am looking for supporting sponsors. Sponsors who may also be happy to offer an ‘expert opinion’ on what are the priorities for a modern OSS solution. I’m also offering logos, by-lines, links and other nice marketing stuff to say thank-you for your support.
If you are interested in supporting the Guide, drop me an email or fill-out a contact form.
I hope OSS Line, with its guides, advice, and friendly blog style is something different from the many media sites just delivering PR and news-feeds. OSS Line serves the OSS community first and foremost. If you agree, please find some way to get involved: I’ve listed a few ideas here.
