Is Comverse looking for a buyer of their BSS software?
Globes has a story about Comverse looking to sell their telco billing unit. This comes a few days after a number of people in the industry received invitations from investment bankers to discuss the potential acquisition of a "premier billing and OSS software company… in the US".
Globes suggests Oracle may be interested, which makes a lot of sense. More telco software to sell more hardware and software infrastructure alongside their OSS offerings.
