In Swollen-bellied Riverbed spears trout of doubt: Opnet buyout blues over, The Register offers us both the best headline this week and an insight in to how Riverbed is getting on with Opnet, now over a year after the acquisition.
The figures quoted show a big hump after 2012 where El Reg suggests:
Riverbed bought Opnet Technologies… for $1bn in late 2012, and the after-effects of integrating that acquisition have included relatively uncontrolled spending.
Things seem to have levelled off now, and Riverbed are focused on transforming from a ‘WAN optimization’ company to ‘location-independent computing company’.
