Ericsson announced late last week that it has entered into an agreement to acquire the assets of TimelessMIND, a Canada-based consulting and systems integration company specializing in operations and business support systems (OSS/BSS). Approximately 30 employees and consultants – based in Canada and India – are expected to join Ericsson. (more…)
NEC Corporation and NetCracker Technology have successfully completed an in-depth trial of their end-to-end virtual customer-premises equipment (vCPE) solution. Amdocs has released new research into mobile traffic showing that the ever-increasing demand for data may exhaust the capacity of 4G/LTE network hot-spots within the next two to three years. NetCracker Technology has announced that M-net Telecommunications GmbH, a regional communications provider in Bavaria, Germany, has selected NetCracker for a large-scale business transformation program. M-net has been a longtime NetCracker Revenue Management customer, but recently decided to implement several additional NetCracker Telecom Operations and Management Systems (TOMS) solutions to launch an end-to-end transformation.
