Kiruna is to engage Netadmin Systems and system integrator Maintrac for a fiber network initiative, with Netadmin automating the on-boarding of customers and services thru a Self Service Portal.
Kiruna, Sweden’s northernmost city, will provide fiber network access and associated services to cover more than 90% of the population.

The system automatically monitors the operation of the whole network, with the correlating capability, the network becomes easy and quick to operate with high quality.

In cases where the users encounter problems or need assistance in any way, they can do so through the Self Service Portal. Maintrac then manages the ticket through the Netadmin solution. This means that the municipality does not need to set up, maintain and develop its own service and support organization, which makes the initiative even more future proof and cost efficient.
