MYCOM OSI has announced that Deutsche Telekom has deployed its digital Service Quality Management (SQM) solution to assure its next generation corporate broadband service.
Deutsche Telekom offers a corporate EVPL (Ethernet Virtual Private Line) service to enterprise customers, using its state-of-the-art next generation All-IP broadband network. As such, it required the highest Quality of Service in the market to differentiate its offering and be recognised as the most competitive provider. To achieve this, Deutsche Telecom needed a solution that could assure the overall and individual services of corporate customers and enable it to achieve SLA (Service Level Agreement) targets, proactively manage customer impacts and support rapid issue resolution.
In addition, Deutsche Telekom required the ability to prioritize incident management based on customer service plans and differentiated quality-of-service profiles, have near real-time EVPL service status visibility across its network and provide first level issue isolation and probable cause detection.
MYCOM OSI’s ProAssure™ digital Service Quality Management solution was selected based on its capabilities, as well as the successful deployment of MYCOM OSI PrOptima™ network performance management software for Deutsche Telekom’s BNG (Broadband Network Gateway) network. Since ProAssure was still in pre- launch at the time of selection, MYCOM OSI was able to successfully collaborate with Deutsche Telekom in agile development mode to adapt and add features specific to its requirements.
The MYCOM OSI ProAssure™ solution provides Deutsche Telekom with:

- Proactive surveillance with automated bottom-up service impact and top-down root cause analyses in real-time across customers, regions, technologies and services
